LES VIEUX JEUNES
2023: intergenerational theater

Continuing the commitment started in collaboration with Secours Populaire in 2019, the Wazo company brought together this year a first animation class as well as a group of elderly people from GEM (Groupe d'Entraide Mutuelle) – an association designed by and for individuals affected by mental health problems, operating on the principle of mutual aid. Often located in the heart of the city, these groups offer a space for meeting, mutual support, organizing activities focused on personal development, friendly moments and creating connections.
Inspired by forum theatre, participants had the opportunity to explore scenarios that questioned the relationships between the "young" and "old" generations, thus promoting better mutual understanding.

METISS'AGE
2019: intergenerational theater
Following an inspiring meeting between a group of retirees from diverse backgrounds, including both dedicated volunteers and beneficiaries of the Secours Populaire Français, as well as students from a first-year ASSP (Aide Services et Soins à la Personne) class, a unique initiative was born. Interactive and intergenerational theater workshops were carefully orchestrated with the aim of giving birth to an exceptional show that would be presented at the Théâtre des Trois Vallées in Palaiseau.
