the audience. Our two madmen of the chat will maliciously try to illustrate their point with excerpts from video archives, or iconographic, but also by dancing on stage excerpts from the repertoire. They will not hesitate for a minute to invite the audience on stage, in order to experiment with a few dance steps. And if by chance a group of amateurs works with them before the conference, the audience will watch with jubilation group dances.

Through the different selection stages (dance audition, singing, comedy, call back...) you will learn everything about the essentials of this genre. From writing the libretto to the opening night, relive the construction of a show and discover the best and worst of Times Square shows! During this unique conference you will understand the birth of this style in astonishing circumstances at the end of the 19th century and become an expert on major American productions and their artists both in theater and in Hollywood.

During this somewhat special class, you will discover, through the work at the barre, the birth of this academic dance. Going from exercises in the middle, then diagonal turns, you will learn everything about this dance and its styles (French, American, Russian school...), to end in apotheosis in a great wild coda.
