The ballet “Biancaneve” weaves a contemporary narrative around the classic story of Snow White, unfolding in a whirlwind of mesmerizing dance movements, moving music and breathtaking staging. Set in an enchanted forest, the audience is immersed in the captivating world of a young princess, Biancaneve, whose beauty and innocence inspire both adoration and jealousy. A freezing winter, a long time ago... In the street, in front of a large house, the two Drosselmayer brothers, dressed in rags, sell dried fruit, like every winter. They are poor and alone, but happy, dancing and playing in front of their improvised stall, where they sell the best hazelnuts in Palermo. But a little mouse sneaks in to steal the hazelnuts. Pietro and Dario trap it: in a deafening explosion, the mouse transforms into a half-human, half-rodent creature, furious and hungry, who casts a spell on Pietro, transforming him into a wooden nutcracker. Desperate, Dario squeezes the nutcracker tightly. He hears a faint heart beating: Pietro is imprisoned in this wooden shell, and he must find a way to free him...
